The business is expanding its sovereign AI cloud and developing the systems required to deploy, validate, and operate high-performance GPU infrastructure for enterprise and public-sector customers.

The Role
We are looking for an Engineering Lead – AI Infrastructure Delivery to build and lead a new team responsible for turning newly installed data center hardware into production-ready compute clusters.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining software engineering, infrastructure automation, hardware knowledge, and team building. Initially, the position will remain highly technical, with increasing people-management responsibility as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities
Design and build automated infrastructure delivery pipelines in Go.
Automate provisioning, validation, firmware, burn-in, network setup, and software installation.
Reduce the time required to move newly installed hardware into production.
Build and lead a new engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance development.
Establish technical standards, tooling, and reusable deployment processes.
Work with large-scale GPU environments, including H100 and GB200-class systems.
Support high-performance networking using technologies such as InfiniBand and RoCE.
Collaborate with hardware, fleet reliability, product, and data center teams.
Diagnose infrastructure and hardware issues across servers, GPUs, networking, and firmware.
Support capacity planning and large-scale infrastructure rollout programs.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in backend, systems, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
At least 2 years of direct engineering leadership experience.
Strong experience automating bare-metal infrastructure or large server fleets.
Proven production experience with Go.
Deep knowledge of Linux and low-level infrastructure systems.
Strong understanding of servers, GPUs, NICs, switches, firmware, and data center environments.
Experience building automated provisioning and deployment workflows.
Comfortable working across both software and physical infrastructure.
Strong team leadership, mentoring, and hiring experience.
Willingness to travel to data center locations when required.
Nice to Have
Experience with large GPU clusters or AI infrastructure.
Knowledge of InfiniBand, RoCE, or high-performance networking.
Experience with data center automation at significant scale.
Background in cloud infrastructure, fleet management, or distributed systems.
What’s Offered
Opportunity to build a new engineering function from the ground up.
Work on large-scale AI infrastructure projects across Europe.
Remote working across multiple European locations.
Competitive compensation and location-specific benefits.
Healthcare, retirement, parental leave, and relocation support depending on country.
Strong influence over technical architecture, team structure, and infrastructure strategy.
